We all got split into groups of seven and my group was Rowan, Ryan, Ayden, Austin, Reuben Jesse and I. We each chose a activity to do. Then we put all of the data in to a graph. The activity that I chose was burpees. This was the data

this is the graph showing our results.

Poems

Hey guys

Today i am sharing a poem that I have written about resilience. My inspiration is about reslilience and never giving up.

Resilience

You try once to succeed
And you fail
You get the wind nocked out of you
As you fall down
You don’t want to get up
But you have to try
Or you will never succeed.

Don’t feel sad
And don’t feel bad
Because if you have resilience
You will always succeed
No matter how Much you get nocked down
Always get up and show resilience.

Independent maths GOAL!!!!

Hey Bloggers it’s me again.

today I am sharing my independent maths goal. Everyday we do a mental maths sheet and it asks us questions about all different areas in maths. The area I am struggling on right now is Roman numerals. The questions we get is like what is cccv. I am trying to improve this and I am doing it by going on the Roman numerals app and reasearching all the numerals and writing them down.

Me In a minute

img_2103img_2102Hey Guys

yesterday and today we did the me and a minute challenge. We had to do all of these challenges in a minute. The little boxes that are in yellow are the averages.

I think that I was pretty accurate with my estimates but some of them were way of.

these are my results.

My areas for improvement are definitely the ski squats because I only did it for 25 seconds. Also I think I could do better. In squats  because I only did 25.

My three goals are

to get 60 seconds on ski squats

to to 40 squats

to get 300 metres around the oval in a minute.

Wonder

img_2373img_2096Hey guys,

this term we are reading my favourite book, Wonder.

We are Answering a question that Mr Bell gave us. The question is what does wonder have to do with these 5 catergories of health, physical, mental, personal, social and spiritual.

Social has the most influence on wonder because of bullies, friends and family.

Mental  health has a pretty big influence on Auggies life because it is showing how August feels and what he is thinking. He feels sad a lot because people are calling him ugly all the time.

Physical health is another big thing in this story because he has a facial deformity and people make fun of him because of it. The Blurb is

My name is August, I won’t describe what I look like, whatever your thinking it’s probably worse.

I think that she wrote this book because she wanted to put the reader in auggies shoes.

Up above is the lyrics to Wonder by Natalie Merchant. I think this is another inspiration that R.j Palicio got to write this book.

Independent Maths

imageHello It’s me again with another post.

Today I did independent maths again but today I changed my maths goal. Instead of working on division with decimals. I am now working on Converting Fractions into like denominators.

At first the task was very hard as I did not get one bit of it. But after Mr Bell explained it on the board, I sort of got the idea, I’m still a little bit stuck on it, but I will get there eventually. 😀

I have taken photos of my progress.
